If you are a locavore, a foodie, or a green living enthusiast, Green Cuisine is a ‘don’t miss’ event. Every year Food for Thought invites the community to their organic farm in Honor, to “raise awareness around just and sustainable food systems.” It is a chance to sample the works of local food artisans, taste local wines, and tour the farm, all for free! There is also a “green lifestyles” tent, where you can learn about other sustainable products and services that are available locally. In past years, the event has drawn more than 1000 people. Nevertheless, Food for Thought walks it’s talk by making this a ‘zero- waste’ event.
